MARIENFELD (Germany), June 9: Coach Luiz Felipe Scolari says there is a doubt about Portugal midfielder Deco's fitness for Sunday's World Cup game with Angola.

The playmaker failed to train on Thursday after hurting his foot in a challenge with team mate Costinha and will also sit out Friday's session.

“If the game was today he probably wouldn't play but as the match is the day after tomorrow there is still time for him to get fit,” Scolari told a news conference.

Asked if Deco would play in Cologne if the medical staff gave him the green light, Scolari was non committal.

“You will find out the name of the 11 starting players on Sunday afternoon,” he said. “I'm not going to confirm anything.”
