Akber shines
LAHORE, June 3: Devastating bowling by medium-pacer Akber Ali helped Model Town Greens enter the final of the Apollo Sports Gold Cup beating Cricket Centre by six wickets on Saturday.
Akbar took seven wickets for 32 as Cricket Centre were restricted to 251-6 in 35 overs.
In reply, Sohail (55), Wajid (50, not out) and Shahbaz (50 not out) excelled as the winners overhauled the winning target scoring 252 in 34 overs.
