KARACHI, June 3: Seven ships carrying steel coils, containers and to load ethanol are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources.

Pakistan flag vessel Bolan carrying 15,000 tons of sugar is due on Monday along with some others, they added.

Berthing activity at the wharves was light as only oil tanker Johar to offload crude oil was berthed as others were not inclined to take berth owing to some technical problems.

Sailing on the other hand was active as seven ships, MOL Kauri, Eric G. Gibson, Gusto, Tassos-N, Stolt Tenacity, Shalamar and African Sanderling departed, while Orient Independence, Yang Jiang He, S. Kala, Johar and Feyza are due to sail out on Sunday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 66,860 tons comprising 7,184 tons of export cargo and 58,676 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Sunday: Mesaieed to load 55,000 tons of naphtha, Wan Hai-303, Kota Tabah, Troyburg, with containers, D.D. Vigor, with 37,000 tons of coal, Feyza and Supoerior Pescadores, with steel coils.

The following vessels are due on Monday: Maersk Alabama, Ever Guard, with containers and Bolan, with 15,000 tons of sugar.
