ISLAMABAD, May 25: A summer youth camp is being organised at the Islamabad Tennis Complex from June 1. Hameedul Haq will conduct the camp along with Fazle Subhan.

Organisers said that Kamran Khalil and Ikramul Haq will look after the physical training of the players.

Twenty boys and 10 girls are to attend the camp which concludes on Aug 15.

Officials said that the main focus of training will be on the physical side which will include hikes on the Margalla Hills, sprinting and jogging sessions etc.

Camp commandant Hameed said that a similar camp, organised by PSB last year was quite successful. "This time however we are staging it on our own with some help from private sponsors."

There are plans to invite some former Davis Cup players like Mushaf Zia, Inamul Haq and Rashid Malik to giving coaching tips during the camp.

A tournament every three weeks involving the players attending the camp is also planned.
