Arsalan guides KSS home


KARACHI, May 24: All-rounder Arsalan Ali steered Karachi Secondary School (KSS) to a three-wicket victory over Government Boys Secondary School (GBSS) Agro Technical in the PCB Inter-school cricket tournament at the UBL Sports Complex on Tuesday.

Arsalan took three wickets for 35 runs with his off-spinners and later scored 34 with six boundaries.

Aftab Ali Shah top-scored with 46 with five hits to the ropes.

About 100 schools from all over the city are taking part in the competition.

GBSS AGRO TECHNICAL 182 in 35.2 overs (Aqeel Ahmed 43, Arshad Ali 32; Arsalan Ali 3-35);

KSS 183-7 in 39.3 overs (Aftab Ali Shah 46, Arsalan Ali 34, Umair Khan 29, Maroof 26; Bilal Shafiq 2-46, Arshad Ali 2-25, Shahzaib 2-50).—APP
