KARACHI, May 23: A goal in injury time by Zulfiqar Ali put Hyderabad in the league rounds of All Pakistan Anwar Ali Bhaijan Memorial football tournament when they edged out Karachi District East 3-2 at Peoples Sports Complex on Monday.
Hyderabad were trailing 1-2 with three minutes to go. But Shoaib Ali levelled the scores in 88th minute and Zulfiqar produced the match winners seconds before the hooter.
Karachi East took the lead through Muhammad Rahim in 19th minute on a pass from Qamar Yar. Muhammad Ali made it 1-1 in 32nd minute. Qamar Yar again put Karachi East ahead in 68th minute. —APP
