Majid blasts hat trick
KARACHI, May 22: Striker Majid Ali smashed first hat trick of the tournament as Zone V West entered the league stages of All Pakistan Shaheed Anwer Bhai football tournament after thrashing DFA Khazdar 9-0 on Monday at People’s Sports Complex.
Majid completed his tally by scoring in 22nd, 36th and 44th minute of the match as the winners led 5-0 at the breather.
Earlier, Zeeshan Ahmed and Muhammad Adam gave their side 2-0 lead having struck in fifth and eight-minute.
The victors scored four more goals in the second half to complete their scoring with Muhammad and Hameedullah blasting two goals each.—PPI
