Car falls into Swat River; three killed


PESHAWAR, May 22: Three persons were killed when a speedy car coming from Mingora fell into Swat river near Bahrain on Sunday, police said. The deceased were coming to their hometown Madyan. The driver lost control of the car while negotiating a sharp turn at Chamghari and the car fell into the river.

People and senior police officers rushed to the site and carried out rescue operation. The bodies of driver Rahim and Palas were recovered while search for third body of an unknown person was going on.—APP
