VEHARI, May 16: One person was injured when a petrol pump situated on Vehari-Burewala Road caught fire on Monday night. Reports said diesel was being decanted into the underground tank when the oil-tanker caught fire. Tanker owner Rafiq sustained serious burn injuries and was taken to hospital.

The oil-tanker and other machinery also burnt due to the fire. Fire brigade and other rescue teams controlled the fire after half an hour.

The cause of the fire could not be ascertained till the filing of this report in the evening.
