Funds for ring road

MULTAN, May 15: City district nazim Mian Faisal Mukhtar said on Monday Rs370 million have been released for the Multan ring road project. He said at a meeting with delegations of citizens and traders that the project has been named as Multan Ring Road by the city district government, says an official release here on Monday.

He thanked the chief minister for taking special interest in development of Multan and hoped that this project would prove to be a milestone in improving tourism, industrial and agriculture sectors in the area.

The project would create employment opportunities. It would reduce traffic load on city roads.—APP
