LAHORE, May 14: Despite a fine knock of 93 by Aamir Butt, Mughalpura Whites suffered a two-wicket defeat against Aligarh Club as two more matches were decided in the 9th Servis Gold Cup cricket tournament on Sunday.
Mughalpura Whites were all out for 179 in 40 overs with Rehan Rauf and Shahid taking four for 24 and three for 43 runs, respectively.
Aligarh Club reached their target for the loss of eight wickets with Mohammad Ashfaq hitting 54.
Meanwhile, a fine century by Umar Akmal helped Cricket Centre beat Muslim Gymkhana by 59 runs.Umar hit 111 as Cricket Centre piled up 314 for eight in their allotted 40 overs.
Mohsin Latif then captured four for 45 as Muslim Gymkhana were dismissed for 255 in 39 overs.
