Dust storm causes power cut

ATTOCK, May 14: Power supply to various areas remained suspended for some hours due to a dust storm that hit the city on Sunday evening.

The dust storm, which started at 6.30pm, caused suspension of power supply to Darulsalam colony, Awan Sharif Muhallah, People’s colony and Farooq-i-Azam colony.

The power supply was resorted at 8pm. A number of trees, pylons and phone lines were reportedly uprooted due to the storm.

Power supply also remained suspended in various parts of the city in the early hours of Sunday.—Correspondent
