KARACHI, May 14: Naib Nazim of the City District Government Karachi Nasreen Jalil has sought the cooperation of philanthropists and NGOs in holding free medical camps in the city on a regular basis.

She was speaking during her visit to the free medical camp set up jointly be two pharmaceutical companies under the patronage of the city government to mark the World Hypertension Day here on Sunday, according to a statement.

Ms Jalil said that the city government would provide all possible assistance in holding free medical camps for public welfare. She noted that to mark the World Hypertension Day, free medical camps had been set up in 10 different towns of the city.—APP
