SARGODHA, May 13: Legal education is imperative for every citizen as it introduces academic discipline and know-how of the law. This was stated here on Saturday by Mr Justice Faqir Muhammad Khokhar of the Supreme Court while addressing a seminar on ‘role of legal education in the 21st century’, arranged by a local college.

He said that it was misconception that legal education was exclusively for those who intended to become lawyer or judge. Rather, it could benefit professionals in other fields too.

Mr Justice Faqir Muhammad stressed the need to change the ‘outdated’ LLB syllabus by including various subjects like the cyber space law, alternate dispute resolution and corporate law.
