Six of a family killed in Nankana

By Rana Sarwar

SHEIKHUPURA, May 3: Six members of a family, including two children and a woman, were shot dead and three others injured allegedly by their relatives in Jatree Waseeran village in Nankana Sahib district on Wednesday.

Azam had allegedly developed illicit relations with Khan’s daughter Aasia. Aasia’s mother saw her daughter in a compromising situation with Azam. She brought the matter to the notice of her husband Khan.

Khan accompanied by his son Arshad and relatives Jaj, Mokha, Amin, Maryam Bibi and three other unidentified people barged into the house of Azam’s cousin Hayat and opened fire.

As a result, Hayat, his wife Bushra, father Mohammad, sons Sadam Hussain and Khalid, and relative Sarfraz died on the spot.

His three other relatives, Shahid, Bibi and Mohammad Arif, received bullet injures and were taken to Mayo Hospital.
