Probables report for training camp

LAHORE, May 3: Twenty-six probables, including Kiran Ilyas Ghouri, captain of the Punjab team, which won first national women football championship, reported at the national camp at the Punjab Stadium to select a team to take part in Jordan's eight-day futsal tournament.

Pakistan will make its international debut in women futsal by participating in the event to be held at Jordanian capital of Amman from May 11-18.

The team is likely to be announced on Friday.

Besides Pakistan and the host, other participating countries are Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria and Afghanistan while three clubs of Jordan namely Orthodox Club, Amman Club and Shabab Ordon are other competitors.

Probables:

Punjab (11): Sobia Younis , Rafia Perveen, Kirin Ilyas, Saima Younis, Tehreem Iqbal, Ambreen Akhter, Sheka Nazir, Shazia Hidayat, Shehnaz Akhter Jafri, Khadija Anjum, Sara Shaukat.

Wapda (5): Nargis Nazir, Uzma Noshi, Sadia Perveen, Shabana Kausar, Misbah Siddique, Sindh (4): Sadia Sheikh, Marium Laghari, Nadia Siraj, Arman Khan

Balochistan (5): Saima Shakoor, Fahmida Habib, Shaista laghari, Rifat Mehdi, Farzana.

Azad Jammu and Kashmir (1): Nukhba Urooj.
