Pace talent hunt


SRINAGAR, May 3: Former India fast bowlers Javagal Srinath and T.A. Sekar on Wednesday concluded trials in held Kashmir to select boys for a prominent pace bowling academy.

Over 200 Kashmiris aged 15-20 registered for the trials in Srinagar. “The MRF Pace Foundation in Chennai felt the need of conducting trials here after we saw the performance of two young fast bowlers from the valley – Abid Nabi and Samiullah,” said Srinath.—AFP
