$20m textile machinery orders booked at IGATEX
KARACHI, April 29: The local textile manufacturers booked textile machinery worth around $20 million displayed at the fifth IGATEX 2006. Most of the stall holders belonging from China, Turkey, Italy and Spain were happy to get big orders for textile machinery.
The four day exhibition of textile machinery participated by 450 companies from around 30 countries gave local manufacturers a chance to witness latest technological changes in this sector. The buyers of machinery hailed from Gujranwala, Multan, Faisalabad, Lahore and other cities. According to one buyer operational display of these machines helped the buyers a lot in taking a right decision.
Students from various textile institutions and engineering universities also visited the exhibition and took keen interest in learning about the latest trends in textile technology through invention of state of the art machines.
Shields were distributed by the organizers — Pegasus — to the exhibitors in recognition of their valued participation and making the IGATEX a great success.
