LONDON, April 27: Pakistan’s medium pacer, Rana Navedul Hasan, grabbed five wickets for 63 to help Sussex take a first innings lead against Hampshire at the Rose Bowl in the English county cricket championship match on Thursday.

Sussex having scored 211 in their first innings were 149 for five in their second innings having dismissed Hampsire for 168 with Rana Naved doing the most damage.

Indian paceman, Zaheer Khan, was also amongst the wickets for Worcestershire who face defeat against Somerset.

Zaheer took four wickets for 100 in Somerset’s massive 406 in the first innings and picked up four for 22 in second innings.
