Feroze Gulzar, Ahmed excel

LAHORE, April 27: Three goals each by Ahmed Ali Tiwana and Feroze Gulzar helped Candy Land Blues beat Sherwood 8 1/2-4 in the Low goal club polo tournament on Thursday.

The winners led the first chukker 1 1/2-2, due to half goal handicap, as both teams scored one each.

Three-goal Azhar Ali drew first blood for Sherwood. Two-goal Afzal Mahr scored the first of the winners.

The winners led the second chukker 3 1/2-2 as Ahmed Ali Tiwana struck twice.

Azhar banged home with his second goal for the losers.

The winners were in total command in the third chukker, adding three more goals to one they conceded (6 1/2-3).

Feroze struck his first while Ahmed his third and Afzal his second. Shahzad Aziz reduced the margin for the losers.

Maintaining the attacking game, the winners scored two more in the fourth chukker, both through Feroze. Azhar scored his third for the losers but only to reduce the margin.
