Booked for issuing bogus cheques
MULTAN, April 26: A trader was booked on the charge of issuing two fake cheques of Rs1.1 million to his business partner on Wednesday. Reports said Muhammad Ali of Lahore informed Mumtazabad police that his business partner Khalid Jamil of Multan had issued him two cheques of Rs800,000 and Rs300,000, but these were declared bogus by a bank. Police have registered a case. — APP
