Six sepoys hurt as FC trucks collide

TANK, April 25: Six Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were injured, three of them seriously, when two trucks carrying them to the project site of Gomal Zam Dam collided near Dabbara here on Tuesday.

Witnesses said the two vehicles were travelling at high speed and were trying to overtake each other.

The injured sepoys were identified as Noor Moeen Orakzai, Ghufranullah Bhittani, Abdullah Orakzai, Said Ghafoor Ranizai, Ayub Orakzai and Maizullah Bhittani.

Doctors at the Tank Mission Hospital said that three of the injured men were in a critical condition.

SUICIDE: A married woman committed suicide with a 12- bore gun in the Tajori village of Tank district on Tuesday morning.

The victim had married Abid Khan only four months ago.

The father and brother of the victim have registered a case with the Mulazai police station.
