Inhuman treatment

TOBA TEK SINGH, April 25: A health department team on Tuesday seized veterinary injections from three clinics being run by quacks in the district.

A department official said a team headed by district drug inspector raided the clinics being illegally run by Bashir Adil of chak 395-JB (Sada Arayan), Zafar Ali of chak 307-GB and Muhammad Azhar of chak 392-JB (Garh) and seized the injections.

The clinics were sealed, while all the accused escaped during the raids.

Medicines manufactured by unlicensed factories were also recovered from the clinics.
