KARACHI, April 25: Seven ships, including one with sugar, are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Zhen Hua-3, Ever Guard, Yang Jiang He, with container, and Electra-1, with rock phosphate, were berthed.

Six vessels, Ivory Ace, Zhen Hua-3, Global Prosperity, Mrc Sedef, Wise King and Iran Takhti, departed on Tuesday, while Yang Jiang, Parsian and Corn Thaikos are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 75,720 tons comprising 22,608 tons of export cargo, including 5,505 tons of rice and 50,212 tons of import tonnage, was handled.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Precious, with sugar, Adhidaya, with tallow, Swat, with crude oil, Y.M. Energy, Hyundai Advance, Mar Calabria, and Kota Warnua, with containers.
