Railways thrash Punjab

LAHORE, April 23: Three matches were decided on opening day of the Chief Minister Cup women hockey championship on Sunday. Two goals each by Ishrat, Shahida and Riffat Mehdi helped Railways beat Punjab-B 8-0. Irum and Naila added one goal apiece.

Three-goal Rabia Qadir helped Wapda to outclass Police 6-0. Beenish Hayat (2) and Azra Nasir (1) were the other scorers.

Three-goal Razia Malik enabled Punjab-A thrash Sindh 8-0. Tehmina Siddiq and Saman Islam scored two goals, each while Humaira added one goal.
