Yasir holds one-shot advantage

ISLAMABAD, April 23: Yasir Khokhar emerged as the new leader in the net category of President of Pakistan Cup Championship on Sunday gaining a one-stroke advantage at the Rawalpindi Golf Club.

Khokhar, an 11-handicapper carded 81 net for a two-day aggregate of 141 and was ahead by a stroke against Lt. Col (Retd) Munir Haider and Inyatullah Yousufzai, both of whom shared second place.

Munir putted an eagle on the par 4 17th hole and finished on 142 while Inyatullah who had a round of five over 77 also totalled 142.

On the gross side, Waqas Ahmed with three under 69 led the field for a two day total of 142. He was followed by Taimur Hasan who carded par 72 for an aggregate of 145.

In third spot was Navy's Tariq Mahmood who had a round of seven over 79 and aggregated 153.

In the ladies event, Tahira Nazir was the leader with a gross score of 82 and Mrs Faakeha followed on 84.
