By Our Correspondent

GUJRANWALA, April 23: A joint raiding team of the agriculture department and district administration seized spurious fertiliser in sizable quantity from Ghakkar Town and arrested an accused on Sunday.

The raiding party, led by Wazirabad judicial magistrate Ghulam Mustafa, raided the Ghakkhar Town grain market where agency holder Shabbir Hussain was found supplying spurious fertiliser to farmers. The raiding party seized around 1,150 bags of spurious fertilisers and sealed the godown. The police also arrested the accused and registered a case against him.
