Three die in accidents

HARIPUR, April 22: Three persons including a boy were killed in three different accidents here on Saturday. Khalabat Township police quoted one Gohri Jan, wife of Muhammad Miskeen of village Haljadal that her son Muhammad Waqas, 6, was playing with a loaded pistol of a relative when it went off, injuring the boy seriously. The boy was taken to hospital, but he died on the way to hospital.

A patwari, Babar Khan, resident of village Noordi, was killed when the car he was traveling in skidded of the road and overturned near Pakidohli Sera-i-Saleh. He was on way to Haripur from Abbottabad.

In another accident, a young man was killed and three others, including two sisters, were injured when their car hit a road side tree near village Nikapah, five kilometres from here.

The deceased was later identified as Asad, son of Naseem Gul, of Jinnahabbad, Abbottabad. The injured included Fareeha, her sister Anum and their relative, whose name could not be ascertained. The injured were referred to Ayub Medical Complex, Abbottabad.
