Varsity awaits completion of work on campus

MUZAFFARABAD, April 18: Arrangements made by the Azad Jammu and Kashmir University to hold classes in the federal capital after the earthquake on a provisional measure, the university announced it on Tuesday.

“The purpose of resuming classes in Islamabad is to save the precious academic year of the students. It’s purely on a temporary basis and as soon as construction of temporary blocks in Muzaffarabad and Rawalakot campuses is completed, academic activities of the varsity will be shifted there,” spokesman Zafar Iqbal said in a statement.
