LAHORE, April 17: The All-Pakistan PWD Workers Union has demanded steps for controlling the growing lawlessness and inflation in the country.

Voicing the demand at a meeting held here on Monday with Mohammad Aslam Firdausi in the chair, secretary-general Amin Rathore said people were feeling insecure owing to the deteriorating law and order situation and being driven to the brink of starvation due to growing inflation.

He said the people would come on road if steps were not taken to redress their grievances.
