Razzaq, Shariq excel

LAHORE, April 16: All-round performance by Abdul Razzaq and a fine century by Shariq Yasin helped Pakistani Punjab blind team to beat its Indian counterpart in the first match of the five-match series by 10 wickets at the LCCA ground on Sunday.

Razzaq took three wickets for 35 as Indians were all out for 222 in 34 overs. Five batsmen were run out.

Manbhindher Singh (62) and Gurweer Singh (34) were the top scorers.

Abdul Razzaq scored an unbeaten 97 while Shariq slammed a century to overhaul the target.

The second match will be played on Monday.
