Taimur strikes twice

LAHORE, April 16: Two-goal Taimur Mawaz Khan helped United Solutions win the low goal club polo tournament, beating Learning Alliance 3- 2 1/2 in the final on Sunday.

Taimur drew first blood in the first chukker to eliminate the losers' half-goal handicap lead.

Two-goal Ahmed Ali Tiwana again put the losers ahead 1 1/2-1 by scoring his first in the second chukker.

Saqib Khan Khakwani and Taimur scored a goal each in the third chukker to consolidate the lead of the winners 3-1 1/2.

Ahmad scored his second in the fourth goal but only to reduce the margin. —Correspondent
