SIALKOT, April 16: An eight-member delegation of soccer ball manufacturers and exporters left the city on Sunday for China to participate in a meeting of the World Federation of Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI) scheduled to be held in Beijing from April 23 to 24.

Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) president Dr Nouman Idrees Butt is leading the delegation which will visit some mechanised football manufacturing factories in Donnguan-China.

Talking to the press at the chamber before leaving for China, SCCI chief Dr Nouman Butt and SVP Faisal Mehmood Khan said WFSGI secretary-general Andre Gorgemans had invited the Sialkot-based soccer ball manufacturers to attend the world-level meeting of its members.

They said the event would help them learn more about the recently introduced mechanised soccer ball techniques.

They said the delegation would share views, achievements, experiences and future planning with the world soccer ball producers.
