Three bodies found in Jamrud

LANDI KOTAL (Khyber Agency), April 15: The political administration of the Khyber Agency on Saturday found three bodies in a dry river bed near the Takhta Beg checkpoint in Jamrud.

Unknown people had killed the three men and left their bullet ridden bodies near Takhta Beg. Khasadars posted at the checkpoint spotted the bodies on Saturday morning and shifted them to the tehsil office.

The dead were identified as Fida Hussain and Khalid of Peshawar and Khan Zeb of Mardan, who resided in Ghundi locality of Jamrud tehsil.

CAR SNATCHING: The Khasadar force in Landi Kotal on Friday night arrested a staff member of Mehsood scouts on charges of car snatching.

Sources said Taj wali of Loe Shalman, with two colleagues, had booked a taxi car from Landi Kotal for Loe Shalman. On their way they tried to snatch the car, which the driver Rashidullah resisted. During the scuffle, the driver suffered serious injuries but was able to foil the attempt.

The driver was brought to the Landi Kotal hospital.

The suspect was arrested by Khasadar force in Landi Kotal bazaar and a pistol and a knife seized from him. His accomplices escaped.
