Man kills sister by accident

SUKKUR April 13: A young woman was shot dead accidentally, in the Nangreja Village, in the jurisdiction of Kotdiji police station, Khairpur district, on Wednesday night.

Saira, wife of Rehmatullah Nangreja, died when a bullet accidentally went off from the rifle, being cleaned by her brother. She died on the spot.

A case of accidental death under section 319 of the Qisas and Diyat Ordinance was registered at the Kotdiji police station.

BOY DIES: A minor boy was killed and his sister injured seriously, when the wall of their house collapsed in the Wario Wahan village near Ranipur, Khairpur district, on Wednesday night.

Shahnawaz Junejo and his family members were sleeping, when a wall of his house collapsed, which resulted in the death of his son Ghulam Nabi 4. His daughter Sahiba Khatoon, 5, sustained serious injuries and shifted to a local hospital.

BLAZE: A house along with households and stocks of grain was reduced to ashes in the Mour Sial village in Ghotki district on Wednesday night.

According to details, fire broke out in the house of one Ghulam Mohiuddin Sial on Wednesday while his wife was preparing meals. The villagers extinguished the fire.
