SIALKOT, April 10: Motra police have failed to recover the son of a widow kidnapped three weeks ago for ransom from Gujjar Kulla village in Daska. According to the FIR, Fatima’s son Asif recently returned from Saudi Arabia. On March 23, proclaimed offender Zulfiqar alias Bhutto with the help of his accomplices, kidnapped him and demanded Rs5 million ransom.

However, the woman could borrow Rs1.5 million from her relatives. But the kidnappers did not agree to that amount. She has appealed to the Punjab chief minister, the IGP and the Sialkot DPO to help recover her son.
