Girl swallows tablet, dies

ISLAMABAD, April 10: A five-year-old girl died after swallowing poisonous medicine accidentally while an unidentified body was found here on Monday, police said. In the first incident, Ana Bibi took poisonous medicine in her house located near Bari Imam. She was shifted to a nearby hospital when her condition deteriorated. But, she died while being treated.

Police quoted family members of the girl as saying that Ana swallowed the medicine which she found while playing.

In another incident, the police found an unidentified body of a man lying in a green area near Bari Imam shine.

The incident came to light when some passers-by informed the police about the body. The police shifted the body to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences.
