KARACHI, April 10: Eight ships carrying coal, containers and to load molasses are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to port sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where seven ships, Selcon, Lise Wuff, Ever Guard, to unload and load containers, Docomo, Johar, Matheos and Formosa Product Cosmo, to offload oils, were berthed.

Sailing was also brisk as eight vessels, Mol Silver Fern, Selcon, Maersh Alabama, Lise Wuff, Al-Marwah, Kyung-2 Reefer, Swat and Aquadance departed, while Docomo, Johar, Sagamore, Ever Gather, Kota Mesra, Fomosa Product Cosmo and Song Yun He are due to sail out of Tuesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 0.151m tons comprising 54,870 tons of export cargo including 4,265 tons of rice and 96,075 tons of import tonnage, which also included 4,231 tons of sugar.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Asdruball-2, to load 13,125 tons of molasses, APL Jeddah, Thor Captain, Satha Bhum, Sinar Bontang, Kota Wangi, with containers, Ioanthi, with 37,747 tons of coal and Germania, with project cargo.

The following are due on Wednesday: Hyundai Sprinter, Orient Independence, YM Fortune, Iran Kodestan, with containers, Calypso-N, with steel scarp, Parsian, with 18,000 tons of sugar and Ducky Symphony, with 640 vehicles.
