Women’s hockey trials concluded

LAHORE, April 9: Two-day national women hockey trials concluded at the National Hockey Stadium on Sunday. The trials were held to pick 40 probables for a camp to be held to prepare and finalise Pakistan team for the Asian Games qualifying round to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in June.

The Asian Games are scheduled to be held in Qatar in December.

In all, 70 probables participated in the trials on Sunday.

The list of 40 selected probables will be announced on Monday.
