LAHORE, April 9: Raheela Bano clinched three more gold medals to continue her clean sweep and help Wapda remain leaders with 107 points on the second day of the national women cycling championship on Sunday. Raheela, who won the two gold medals on Saturday, won all three on the second day.

She started the day with a victory in the 15kms road time trials held near Lahore airport.

She clocked 23mins 14.10 secs to grab the third gold medals.

Her teammate Ayesha Amin clinched a silver medal clocking 24min 17.38 secs.

Irum Rasheed of Railways finished third. Raheela remained the leader in the elimination race clocking two min 43.23 secs followed by Ayesha Amin (Wapda) and Anilla Ayub (Sui Southern Gas).

In the 3km team pursuit, the last event of the day Raheela with Misbah Mushtaq, Ayesha Amin and Ghazala clocked four minutes 25.31 secs to win the first position.

Sui Southern Gas notched-up the second position with a team comprises Aneela Ayub, Madeeha Shahzad, Sadaf and Ayesha Nazir.

Railways (Fauzia, Nusrat, Sukhan, Irum Rasheed) came third.

Sui Southern Gas scored 51 points to occupy the second position followed by Railways who had 44 points.

15km road time trials: Raheela Bano (Wapda) 23m 14.10sec; Ayesha Amin (Wapda); Irum Rasheed (Railways).

Elimination race: Raheela Bano (two min 43.23sec); Ayesha Amin (Wapda).

3km team pursuit: Wapda (Raheela Bano, Misbah Mushtaq, Ayesha Amin, Ghazala) four min 4.31 seconds; Sui Southern (Anila Ayub, Madeeha Shahzad, Sadaf, Ayesha Nazir); Railways (Fauzia, Nusrat, Sukhan, Irum Rasheed).

Monday's (final day) fixtures:

30km scratch road race. 1km Olympic team sprint. 1km individual sprint.
