KHAIRPUR, April 9: Relatives of two policemen who have been missing for eight days staged a demonstration on Sunday in Gad and Panhwar villages and demanded the DPO Khairpur do more to recover their colleagues. Constables Naseem Panhwar and Mushtaq Gad posted in katcha area went missing when they were retuning home after attending a wedding ceremony in Din Mohammad Gad village some eight days ago.

Police conducted raids on Saturday and Sunday night for the arrest of some influential persons in connection with the case in Phuloo, Guloo Siyal, Safar Ji Machine and KT Khuhra areas and arrested ten persons.

The relatives continued their protest for the second day against police, who they said had not even lodged an FIR at police station Phuloo.—Correspondent
