President, PM grieved

ISLAMABAD, April 9: President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Sunday expressed grief over the tragic loss of life at the Faizan-i-Madina Mosque in Karachi. They also expressed solidarity with the bereaved families.

The president and the prime miniser talked to Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad and Chief Minister Dr Ghulam Rahim and inquired about the incident.

They instructed the provincial authorities to provide adequate medical care and support to the injured and the affected families.

They prayed Allah to grant peace to the departed souls and courage and strength to their families to bear the loss. — APP
