LANDI KOTAL , April 7: The Fata health directorate is considering to set up a ‘health regulatory authority’ to check the mushroom growth of illegal medical centres in tribal areas.
This was stated by the newly appointed health director Prof Mohammad Zubair following a visit to the agency headquarters.
He said the trade in fake medicines could be controlled by the proposed regulatory authority, adding that the government also planned to extend the Drugs Act to tribal areas.—Correspondent
