LAHORE, April 6: The National Assembly Standing Committee on Sports has asked the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman to submit a detailed report about the board's affairs personally on Monday.
The meeting will start at Islamabad at 11am.
Chairman Shaharyar M Khan will have to answer certain questions particularly about the affairs of women's cricket, board's expenditures and the manner of selection of all teams.
The PCB has allocated a large amount of Rs 30 million to promote women’s cricket.
But so far women cricketers have not been able to achieve any positive results.
The women wing hosted the Asia Cup in Karachi but Pakistan team finished at bottom.
A team of Delhi State (Delhi Blues ) completed a 5-0 rout of Pakistan in Lahore on Thursday.
Former Test cricketer Imran Khan is also a member of the committee and is likely to attend.
