Engineers moot


KARACHI, April 4: The 21st international symposium of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Pakistan (IEEEP) will be held on April 14-15. Chairman IEEEP Karachi Centre, Syed Khurshid Pervez, said at a news briefing on Tuesday that the objective of the symposium was to disseminate the knowledge in the fields of electrical, electronics, telecommunications, information technology to help improve the professional standards of the practising engineers.

He said that a national energy plan would also come up for discussion at the symposium which will be opened by IEEEP President Engr Asghar Ali Randhawa.—APP
