LAHORE, April 2: Eighty-five families of quake survivors comprising 485 members will leave for their native areas from the Punjab Social Welfare Complex, Township, on Monday morning after remaining guest of the Punjab government for over four months.
Adviser to chief minister and Punjab Social Service Board chairperson Saba Sadiq will see them off.
As many as 32 people will leave for Havelian, 52 for Darkot, six for Mansehra, 36 for Balakot, 170 for Hattian, 43 for Muzaffarabad, 103 for Bagh and 14 for Rawalakot.
The Punjab government has made free transport arrangements for the return of quake victims to their homes. Every family will be given Rs1,000 in cash and three months ration before departure.
