Pakistan finish second

LAHORE, April 1: Pakistan finished second in the Asian Central Zone volleyball championship held in Sri Lanka last month. Pakistan lost the final to Kazakhstan 3-0 with the score being 25-18, 25-23, 25-23.

Pakistan also defeated India 3-2 in the first match of the competition.

Pakistani players were improving at international level and now at least five were playing for different clubs abroad.

They were earning US$1500 to US$3000 per month.
