Women squash to mark Pakistan Day

HYDERABAD, March 26: Hyderabad District Squash Association would organise First National Open Women Squash 2006 in collaboration with SSA at the Hyderabad Gymkhana to mark Pakistan Day’s celebrations. This was announced by secretary of Sindh Squash Association, Tahir Jamil Khanzada on Sunday.

He said that sixteen players would participate in the tournament carrying Rs75,000 in prize money.

The 16 players are: Sara Awan (Army), Muqaddas Ashraf (Lahore), Maria Toor (Peshawar), Saima Shaukat (Lahore), Aliya Sarfaraz (Lahore), Irum Jahan (Karachi), Sumera Haq (Sukkur), Zeba Pervez, Mehwish Hanif, Zoya Khalid, Gul Zaman (Lahore), Habiba Khan (Karachi), Maliha Shahid and Amina Mehboob (Lahore), Aniqa Awan (Hyderabad) and Bushra Haider (Karachi).
