Reception for award winners
ISLAMABAD, March 23: President Gen Pervez Musharraf on Thursday hosted a reception in honour of the people who were conferred civil and military awards at a ceremony on Thursday. Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, heads of the armed forces, members of federal cabinet, Chief Justice of Pakistan and National Assembly speaker also attended the reception.
President Musharraf congratulated the guests who were conferred awards and said that their services would be remembered for a long time to come and urged the nation to get united.
The people, who were bestowed with awards, also apprised the president of their problems. President Musharraf assured them that their problems would be solved on priority basis.—Online
