QUETTA, March 15: Pakistan Chest Society chairman Dr Syed Mohammad Naeem Agha has said that renowned medical experts will attend the seventh biennial conference of the organisation here on April 19.

He said at a press conference here on Tuesday that about 100 research papers on chest diseases by experts from the United Kingdom, the Philippines, India, Iran, Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia would be presented at the conference.

In reply to a question, Dr Agha said that one of the reasons behind increase in tuberculosis cases was the influx of Afghans and their stay in refugee camps.
